artist statementI have dreams from a faraway place, full of fantasy that inspires me in my work, as I let myself driven by passion, love and faith. In the center of my creations stands the infinite colors from Nature and at the same time all the things that surround me. There are several colors that I prefer and which I like to over-use, influenced by the intensity of my feelings or even my life:•Red – is the symbol of passion, of desire and love, but most of all is a symbol of Life•Gold – represents assertiveness and warmth, the Light and the endless will to live, that recharges me every moment•Blue – is the immeasurable sea, the freedom, the magic night with its dreams, the silence and peaceAll these elements are dominated by the words of magic, intuition and refinement, to express the incomprehensible state of the soul.the Word that can temper and strengthen our soul;the Word which make the silence warm, but especially the Word to love and to open our souls to beauty. My writing comes spontaneous, as a summary of my thoughts, emotions and whishes that can not ne said in just one single word. They are like thousands of free and unspoken thoughts, they are dreams, lyrics of love and prayers. Most of the times these phrases on my paintings are unreadable for one to interpret what his soul feels; the word shouldnt be seek for its meaning, but as a symbol and primary esthetic element of the painting.I am influenced by the vital strength of the artists and their brilliant minds from my home country: Constantin Brancusi, Tristan Tzara, Eugen Ionescu, Mircea Eliade, Emil Cioran, a few reference points.Among the international artists Monet Pollock Basquiat guided me in choosing colors and encouraged me to free expression and stimulates desire.I feel like I'm not done yet my creative resources because I am always searching, full of restless movement, when it comes to the shapes I use or materials. I tend to new forms of expression and combining the physical art, material and virtual art.
